O.P.
Hello since this morning my computer doesn't seem to be turning on.

Parts: http://puu.sh/2eTDY

Build: http://puu.sh/2eTHP

I've tried different power points etc, even attempting the motherboard only trick.

http://puu.sh/2eTK8

But nothing seems to be working.

A few days ago the USB ports where the power button is slowly stopped working so I thought it might have spreaded to the button so I tried the above.

Bought from IJK Sydney, help please.

1st, do you get any power in the system at all?
LED, fan spinning?

Did you check to see if there is power coming out of the AC outlet?

A couple of possiblities:

1. The motherboard or some component on it (CPU, RAM, vid card, etc.) is dead.

2. The front panel power switch has failed. It's just a logic switch that momentarily shorts the logic pin to ground. Try shorting across the two pins where it connects to the motherboard. If it starts, either the switch or the wire pair from it to the motherboard is bad.

Good luck. :)

If PSU is working, then it has to be a MoBo or connection issue or an electrical issue that is completely unrelated to your PC . Check if there is electricity coming from the plug you use on the wall. Open you case and make sure wires are connected (including the power on/off). Then try to run PC. If that does not work I would say that your MoBo is dead.

Motherboard is dead for sure, to backup that up, remove graphics card to see if it boot up.

Faulty CPU or RAM should not prevent the computer from powering the LEDs and fans at least. The graphics card with external power rails can.

Dude have you been doing any heavy overclocking recently?

The front panel power switch has failed.

 We had a computer running a piece of equipment at work that wouldn't turn on just a few months ago. After a number of people swapped parts on it and still didn't get it to turn on, on a whim I tried starting it with a paper clip by jumpering the power wire connection on the motherboard, and it worked. Nice day, I looked like a genius. The switch in the front of the thing had simply stopped working and that's all it was.

Point is - this happens. Definitely give this a try.
