computer won't turn on

My new rig that I put together recently just this morning refuses to turn on. It's been working fine for 2 weeks. When I hit the power button, the HD activity led will blink, as well as the little lights on the motherboard. The motherboard error code thing just reads "- -". The fans try to spin up but won't start unless I give them a little nudge. I tried clearing the cmos but it didn't help. What could be the problem here and how can I fix it?
 
I have a seasonic 550ht. I read a couple posts on the evga forums and someone said they had a similar issue as mine and that a new power supply fixed it, so I will try that first.
