Will a computer turn on with out monitor attached??

Thanks in advanced for any help. Here is the situation..

I was moving some stuff around in my room and accidently unplugged the power strip that my computer was on so it turned off :)

However, I have not been able to get it to power back up.. when plugged in, a green light on my mobo turns on, so I think power is getting to my computer.. so its no the psu.. However when I push the on button nothing happens.. I checked the leads on the on button and reset buttons and they seem intacted.. The fans don't even start to spin so nothing seems to be getting power..

Any ideas?

Reset the CMOS. Unplug the power button and use a penny to short the jumpers to test whether it's the button (I have had a power button fail on one machine, broken plastic inside it). Unplug the whole thing and pull the CMOS battery out for a few minutes.

turn off the PSU from the switch on the back.

Leave off for 15-30 secs, turn it back on and then power on the system itself.

Did you rub the nipple and do kinky things in front of the computer to try and turn it on? Not all units have a switch in the back. I think the good PSUs have them.

try holding the front power button in while you flip the rear switch or plug in the cord if theres no switch. but hold the front switch in while doing it.

Reset the CMOS, Power Button Reset, or press the INS key while powering up.
