Hey, I just finished builing my computer, I was careful not to get static electricity on anything, and I just finished building it correctly (a computer building manual to help) and it wont turn on at all. When I just put my mother board, video card, and cpu in it turned on and recognized those items just fine, now I tried it with just those items and it wont turn on again! what the hell does this mean? thanks

Does the cd drive light flash? Is the BIOS set to auto detect., Have you swaped out everything but the essemcial HD and floppy? Is it trying to boot from the floppy, Hard drive, or a CD?

Forgot the simple question.. Are you CERTAIN the hd/foppy cable has the tab on top? I think the red line is on the right.. try plugging the cable around. with only the needed drives attached. One symptom is the floppy light is always on for the floppy cable.
Good luck

Welcome to the Forums justin1234 :) Can you please cough up the brand and model of your computer's parts (power supply, hard drive, motherboard, CPU, memory modules, anything else you might have like a sound card etc). Thanks :)
