computer wont turn on! ;-(

I had some workers in my house and they supposedly blew a fuse. Now my computer wont turn on. It was plugged into a surge protector. My laptop and all other computer peripherals seem to be working fine. Any suggestions for getting it working again?

Sounds like a blown powersupply. Goto your nearest computer store and get a replacement as test. Somewhere that doesn't charge a restocking fee. Test it out.

2nd suggestion, see if powers on from another electric outlet. Get a another power cord, etc..


good luck. Hopefully nothing happen to motherboard, etc.
