Computer Won't Turn On? Please Help!

Hello,

I keep my computer on overnight everyday. However, when I woke up this morning, I was suprised to see that it had turned off.

When I tried to turn it back on, it wouldn't work. It seems like there is no power being suppled to the computer as nothing turns on (the LED lights don't even come on).

Even after checking the cables and plugging it into different outlets, it still would not power up.

What is the problem here? Has my power supply unit died out on me?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Nope, no storms at all. Temps up to 110 around here in vegas =(

So if it is a dead power supply, which one do you guys recommend I get?
(the one that died out was 300w)

Thanks

You can test your power supply.
Unplug it from the rest of the computer and plug a fan or something into it.
In the harness that plugs into the motherboard: short the green wire with any black wire to turn the power supply on.
If the fan does not run, your power supply is bad.
