Computer won't turn on now

I was trying to get my old computer running again after replacing the dead mobo with a used ASUS A7V266E mobo and was having some hard drive problems so after switching my CDROM IDE cable with my HDD IDE cable my computer won't turn on. I switched them back and reseated everything and it still won't turn on. The green mobo light is on though when I plug the power cable in... Any ideas on things I could try to get it working again?

Start by confirming that the case's power button is still wired to the motherboard's power-button pins and didn't get pulled loose by accident. If that doesn't work, try tickling that pair of pins with a metal object to start the computer (if this works, the case's power switch is the problem).
