ram: 4gb ddr2
hard disk: 300gb + 500gb western digital

Is this a recent build or what?

My first thought is that your RAM may not be properly seated.

-- this is 5 year old rig, the new is only the hard drives, everything else is 5 year old.

-- ok, i will try the ram thing, actually, the ram problem also occured like 1 year ago, the slot of ram was broken, and mobo was making beep sounds.. but now, there is no beep sounds.

-- i dont have spare power supply.

---- i dont know if i can put links here of other forums..

this said that maybe mobo is the problem.
