Computer won't stay asleep--Windows 7 on biostar nm70i-847

preslove

Lifer
biostar nm70i-847 board with Intel Celeron 847 1.1GHz with Windows 7 ultimate.

Usually, when I put it to sleep, it will come back on to the login screen after a minute or two. Anybody have this issue? Any remedies?

Is the BIOS set to allow peripherals to wake it up? Make sure that everything but the power button waking it from sleep is disabled, first.

Try running the following command from an elevated command prompt the next time it wakes up:

powercfg –lastwake

You can also use the following command to determine what devices are able to wake up the system:

powercfg -devicequery wake_armed
