Computer Won't Start........

In my attempts to get my TV Tuner to work, I switched my computer from APCI to Standard PC in the system options.

Now it goes to Windows XP load screen and just keeps loading...

I can't get into windows, or safemode

I can get into dos using the windows install CD

Any way to fix it without reinstalling Windows?

Repair the install perhaps? To the best of my recollection, that will not wipe your data, but rather just reinstalls the Windows files. Some things may get screwed up, but it will get you back into Windows at least.

repair won't work. I will jsut transfer what I need using Vista installer then install Vista and XP.

Unless someone else has an idea?

Since the repair didn't work you will need to reinstall. Don't do that again.

Installed Vista. Still can't get my tv tuner to work.
