Computer Won't Start

So I take my computer over to a friend's house for a little LAN party. Before I leave my computer starts up just fine with no problems. I go over to my friend's house, set everything up and press "Power."

What happens next is my monitor says it's on, my computer says it's on, but their is no image on the monitor. Also, my video card fan is running full speed (I have a Radeon X1800) and my other computer fans are running full speed as well.

What is wrong? How can I fix this?

If you didn't get any beeps, then something may have failed. You'll have to start pulling out parts to see what's causing it. First try would be to just reseat all the add-in cards and memory modules. If that doesn't work, pull all the cards and memory out, and see if you get an error beep. If not, then the mainboard or CPU may be damaged.

Funny how easy it is to break computers.
