I know this was a popular board a couple years ago so I'm wondering if anyone ever experienced anything similar to this.

My computer randomly stopped turning on one day. I opened it up and couldn't get anything to move. I took the CPU out of the socket and hit the power button and all of the fans spin up. I've tried 2 different athlon 64 known good processors and an x2 as well. If there is a CPU in the socket I get nothing and if there isn't then the fans spin up. Does anyone have any ideas?

try clearing the cmos (set the jumper take the battery out for half an hour), its possible some settings got screwed up and with the cpu in the socket its trying something which wont work.
