When I go to shut down in XP pro or Win 2k the computer just restarts again. I thought it might be the power supply so I replaced it with an Antec 350 Watt PS. That didn't help. The old PS was an X treme 300 W one that came with the case.
I had recently cloned XP from my 2nd computer using Norton Ghost 9 onto the computer, so I thought that might be the problem. It is a dual boot system with Win 2K also and there is the same problem with both operating systems. I thought it might be a problem with the cloned XP, but it does it with both operating systems.
The computer is a self made system using a FIC AN11 MB, Athlon XP 1800, Kingston Value Ram 2100 512, Nvidia GE Force 2 video card. It has been working fine for about 2 years.
Any ideas?
