Computer won't reset

I built a computer for my mother in law with these components.

Antec earthwatts EA380 380W
LIAN LI PC-A05B
GIGABYTE GA-MA78G-DS3H
AMD Athlon X2 4450e

Whenever I restart on Vista or after getting out of BIOS the computer won't reset automatically. It just sort of hangs in there.
Also, whenever I turn it on for the first time I have to (most of the time) button reset it twice before it decides to boot.
After this there is no problem at all while using it.

Any ideas?

I think I got it.
The RAM timings were too tight on auto so it wouldn't boot with any certainty. I just manually set them to what CPU-Z said was the right setting and ba-da-boom. I'll post an update later and see if everything is still OK.
Thanks for the reply though.

glad to hear it was a simple fix, must be non compatible ram if the auto timings are too much for it.

Hey guys,

I have the same issue here. AMD 5000+, Antec 380W, Gigabyte 780G DS3H, Crucial Ballistix DDR2 2G. I already changed the memory voltage from the default 1.8V to 2.2V according to the Crucial Ballistix spec. But I still cannot use the reset bottom and it won't POST normally after hibernate. I have to shut it down and restart...and then it works! Do I need to change the RAM timings ? But the Gigabyte tech said it might be the power spply issue? Any comments? Thanks!

Wow, I never had any problems running a mobo on Auto detect memory settings before, what kind of memory are you using in this build?
