OMG, what the hell is going on?
Ok just last night my computer was working fine. I just made a move and the computer was relatively well protected in the drive 40 miles away in my car. It was not exposed to heat for very long, nothing out of the ordinary.
Well, I just tried to power it on and the computer powers on, the fans all spin up, the CD/DVD drives start reading and I can hear the HD's start spinning. The hard drive access light stays a constant red without blinking like normal and the CD drives go through this loop like they are looking for a disk. No image is displayed on the monitor.
I have tried the following:
-Use a different power cord
-Try a different monitor
-Reseat the video card
-unplug all power sources other than video card
-reseat memory
-using one hard disk at a time to see if anything happens.
-Reseat all IDE cables
I am absolutly floored by this and it really is pissing me off. What do I do?! If you can help me out here, I'll send ya a beer
