Computer Won't Load

I built this computer a year ago and it's been working great. Today I just got a 2gb memory kit and installed it. Computer booted up, and it recognized a cd-rom drive I had just plugged in and I restarted it to go into the bios. I missed the load and now it no longer goes past the DFI screen. There is a the 4 red light pattern and the last light won't go out, indiciting it's a vga error. My card fan is spinning, and the monitor turns on so can it really be a vga issue?
Also my mobo fan won't spin, it's a dfi nforce4 ultra-d. If there is any advice you can give me it would be much appretiated, thank you all.

Well I would double check to make sure all of your connections are tight, and I would back up, put the old ram back in, and unplug the cd-rom drive you just plugged in..
