Computer Wont Load, after shutting down, thought to be short circuited?

Alright so here we go. One day I just turned on my computer used it for a while and then shut it off. I left my house for a little while and then came back, when i went to use my computer though the room it was in smelt funny like something was burnt or burning. I tried to turn on my computer and nothing happened. Nothing turned on and everything just stayed silent. Here comes the part where i try to fix it. First i thought it was the power supply so i went to buy a new power supply a Thermaltake 430w purepower. Then it still wouldnt work the light on my mobo wouldnt turn on so i got a new mother board a MSI K8T800 compatible wiht AMD 64 sckt 754 cpus where i have a amd 643200+. At the same time I also got a new Zalman heatsink replacing the old heatsink that i had for the CPU. Then I also found out that the POWER SW lines connecting to the chassis buttons where broken so i solded them back together. Finally, my computer turned on after switching all those things. But what i was stumped to find was that all the fans turned on such as my CPU, and video card but my Power SUpply fans didnt turn on. I read on the specs and it said that it had "thermal control" does that mean that the fans wotn turn on for my PSU until it gets hot? Also i mad esure that my video card wasnt broken so i put it on another computer and it was fine no problems. But when i loaded my computer and connected it to the monitor i go tnothing the computer monitor was stay in stand by with the yellow light i didnt even hear anything activate trying to turn the monitor on it just stayed off even though i mad sure the monitor cables power and connecter were all firmly attached this goes with everything else in my computer so it has nothing to do with loosely attached cables. I also figured out that i think my hardrive is busted because it does load when i turn on my computer as i tried other hard drives i could feel the disk spinning inside the hd's so i put a new hd in and still no luck. so my problem is this why does everything load such as hd is on, videocard is on and fine, poweruspply works except for the fans not turning on which is odd, case buttons are fine, cords are attached, mobo is new. Why am i not getting anything on my screen my usb mouse and keyboard arent activating either i cant get to even teh bios screen. I tried switcihg my monito to onboard to and nothign happened still black screen. IF ANYONE CAN PROVIDE ME WITH "GOOD" INFO ITD BE DEEPLY APPRECIATED, THANKS.

other people on other forums read it just fine you must have reading problems but np i fixed it. Ethernet card was interfering with onboard ethernet and psfan was broken go t anew one worked just fine everythign back to normal
