My computer has decided to quit hibernating. I was working fine, and then one day quit turning off. I have tried resetting the settings in the control panel, and also in the bios. Whassup wit dat????
Most likely, it's a a hardware device that's refusing to let Windows go into "deep sleep." It could be just as easy as updating drivers for key components... NIC, video, and sound cards.
Thanks for the info Hoss...I did have a message that the video card was preventing it from going into hibernation, but it was doing this before i had installed that card, and is doing still after I changed the card. I'll try changing some of the drivers. Thx again Hoss
