I'm having trouble with a windows 2000 machine, 1.7ghz P4 IBM that will not detect the DHCP server in order to get onto the network. Everytime I try to make a network change and save it "hitting ok", the machine hangs. I've tried so SFC /Scannow but nothing, I've tried removing the network drivers but still nothing. I have no idea what to do and a repair installation is my last resort, any ideas? (Does not connect to network/internet and yes the internet is fine).

I can't get online so downloading the drivers is difficult.

USB memory drive, external hard drive, cd/dvd, are some of your options.
