Anyways i have a WRT54G router. I built a new system and hooked up my "old" one for the ol lady. The old one will no longer connect to the internet. It had internet for less then a day and suddenly she said she was using it and woosh no more connection. I checked and realeased/renewed the connection and all the information shows up fine so it is talkin to the router but acts as if noones home. Says nothing about limited connection. I'm stumped .. any help would be great .

Oh yea i tryed uninstalling and updating drivers the whole normal routine.

oh yea and inputing my 192.168.1.1 into IE will not even pull up the routers main page from the old computer .. but works fine from this new one.

post the output of "ipconfig /all". have you tried assigning a static address?

try to repair your tcp with start > run > "netsh int ip reset"

alternatively, try the LSP fix
