i assembled a new computer for my sister, its a Athlon XP 2500+, Albatron KX18D pro mobo, 2 sticks of 256mb DDRAM 3200 RAM, Samsung 80gb HDD, Radeon 9600 pro, some case with 300W PSU.

So i assembled it all , turned it on, all the fans started to spin, the HDD made some bootup noise, and then nothing happened, no POST, i first thought it was the PSU as ia had a similar problem with it on my own computer, so i inserted a 400W one, still nothing, tryed replacing the CPU, video, RAM, one by one, still nothing.

Friend suggested resseting the CMOS, i tried that nothing still. Im qlueless, please help :/

You've replaced everything except the motherboard. Make sure the motherboard isn't grounding out on the case. Try assembling it outside the case to test it (you can use a flathead screwdriver to jump the power-on pins to start it up, and hold it there for four seconds to power the system off. If you get the same problems, the mobo is likely bad. I've never heard of "Albatron" either. Company I've never heard of = prime suspect. Swap it for a nice ABIT or ASUS mobo.

Only other thing I can think of is that you're connecting the HSF to the system or case plug rather than the CPU fan plug. A lot of systems will not start if they detect no fan or a non-functioning fan attached to the CPU plug.

Also, what brand of power supplies did you try using. 300w and 400w mean nothing. I would rather have an Antec 300w power supply than some generic 550w.
