Heya,
Figured I'd start in the video forum since this related to my video card...
In my media PC, I have a Geforce TI 4200 that is connected to my TV via the S-Video port. I have no other monitor connected to the PC. I have a problem in that whenever the machine reboots, it just hangs and won't do anything unless I disconnect the Svideo cable. I see the initial post screen but can't get into BIOS, don't see the Windows screen, etc.
Last time I tried connecting a normal monitor and it didn't help but then I disconnected the SVideo and it came right up. I then reconnected the SVideo and reset the display options and got everything back to normal. However we had a power outage over the weekend and now I'm having to do the same thing all over again.
Anyone else ever heard of anything like this with this card or any other card? I'm thinking I may just replace that PC eventually but I'd still need a card with SVideo that will actually boot properly. hmmm.
