Computer won't boot unless I have a monitor plugged in...

I have a PC hooked via SVideo to my tv and it worked fine with the G4MX on the an old Abit BH6 with 1gig PIII. I just upgraded it to a Dell Dimension 4500 with 2.4GHz P4 and it won't boot unless I have a monitor hooked up to it. I get no signal to my TV (bios, etc.) as I did with my old machine. It just sits there with the HD light on and doesn't boot. When I plug in a monitor (turned on or not) it boots, but I get nothing on my TV.

Any ideas? Anyone ever build a dummy db15 plug that I can use to fake a monitor?

Thanks

That's my first guess in bold. Dell doesn't let you do too much with their motherboards...
