Computer won't boot (SSD issue?)

This started happening after the computer couldn't be powered down normally. When I start the computer up, I'll get this.

The first option takes me into Startup Repair, but no operating system will be found.

The second option initiates the boot sequence, and it will say "Starting Windows." But oddly, there will no animation bar or Windows flag. Nothing happens.

Is it because I'm using a shitty OCZ Vertex 2? Is my OS gone?

Yes, this does sound like your SSD had lost some data (not uncommon for a Vertex 2, especially on old firmware). You might try a repair install and see if anything is recoverable, but if I were you I'd start shopping for a new drive like the Samsung 840 EVO 120GB.
