Ok some background first. This is an August build, have had zero problems with it up until now. Specs are as follows:

Gigabyte p35c-ds3r
e6750
2 gb muskin ddr2
radeon 1800
corsair 520 watt power supply
vista

On to the problem. It has been running for 4 days or so and I went to restart it. It hung on the vista loading screen and it has never done that. No biggie, I'll just reset it. Well it turned off, turned back on and the fans would start to spin up then just shut off. No beeps, no display, nothing. It will cycle through this until I flip the switch on the power supply.

I have tried everything I can think of. I tore it down so only the mobo is plugged in with cpu, vid card and ram and sill the same thing. Please help me!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, nothing unusual has ever happened. I have not tried the power supply in another comp but I think I may have sourced the problem. It looks like the mobo is gone. I read a long thread on their forum and other people have had the EXACT same problem (freezes on the green bar vista loading screen then will do the boot reboot cycle).

They think it's some problem with the bios and some people have had this problem right after flashing but others have been stable for months and then it just goes. So I will be rma'ing this board and looking for a new one since I don't want this to happen again.

man im gettin this with allmost the same board. My gigabyte p956 S3 worked one day and refused to post the next(Any fan that is conected directly to the psu runs but the cpu fan doesnt and after around 5 secs the system turns off). I gave it to a guy to test the diffrent parts and the cpu, ram, gfx all worked fine. So i got a new mobo(gigabyte p35 ds3) and hooked it up two days ago. I start the pc up and its doing the same thing. Today i tested it an old ati gfx that doesnt need the 6 pins plug and the cpu fan actually spinned for around 3 of the 5 seconds and then it turns off. So atm im stuck at thinking that its the PSU who is problem with this. I hope u get your problem fixed but please say if u get it to work... cause im still sitting here with a dead pc and only need to get a new psu... but it would suck if its not the PSu and something else. ....

Test those PSUs guys, I've had that exact problem on at least two other comps.

How to test. A paper clip works too for those not faint of heart. Just don't hold it with your bare hands!

Nope, power supply seems good. Used a paper clip to jump it and it ran fine (fan spun at least).

My p35-ds3r did the same thing and I had to rma it. I've also read other form posts about the same problem, always leads to rma of the mobo. I wonder if its the p-35 northbridge which is failing or something else.
