Computer won't boot (no video no beeps)

Ok so today I decied to pull out my GPU to clean the cooler. Removed it and blew the dust out then put it back in. Now the computer wont boot, all the fans spin up and i can hear my HDDs spin up but the monitor stays black with the power light flickering and i get no beeps (I would assume if somehow i damaged the gpu the computer would atleast give a POST beep).
I tried booting with no GPU, no RAM, no HDDs and still no beeps.
Tried clearing the CMOS as well but to no avail.
Out of desperation I even tried a different PSU but that didn't help either so now I'm at a loss here.

E6600 C2D (Conroe)
Gigabyte GA41M-Combo board
2x2GB of some generic ddr3
Gigabyte HD4870 1GB
2 1TB caviar blacks
Seasonic X750 PSU
C2D

I also had this same problem of my old PC won't bootup and it can be a lot of issues and I still did not bother to detect the defects. Therefore I decided to get my new rig instead. Hopes you can try installing any working gfx card 1st to ascertain.

This. Did you leave a the 4 pin disconnected? If not, try reseating it two or three times? My first guess would be that it's just not seated right. Did you bump the processor HSF?

I reseated everything but the CPU because my cooler is a pain in the ass to deal with. I pulled out the mobo then reseated it along with the GPU and made sure the 4pin and 24pin ATX cables were connected. I tried a different GPU but still nothing although I cant really see this being GPU related since the system wont even give me POST beeps no matter what I try. What boggles me is how could this have happened after I simply cleaned and reseated the GPU without touching anything else and it suddenly died on me.

Well I did a complete rebuild of the system, reseated everything from the CPU to every wire/cable imaginable and still nothing. I guess it must be the board or CPU itself but I don't have spares of either so I guess I'll be taking it to the shop then.

From the description in the OP it sounds like the mobo is at issue. Before declaring it "dead" (I had similar symptoms with a previous dead mobo) have you tried clearing the CMOS? As for possibly killing it, you may have had an electric discharge w/o realizing it when you took the card out.

I tried all the obvious things like clearing CMOS and checking the 4pin power cable etc. I guess I somehow managed to kill the board and its only 6 months old since originally this pc had an ASUS P5B Deluxe that died on me... oh well atleast this one is still under warranty.
