Computer won't BOOT - just give melong beeps! constant

I when to load some scanner software into my wifes computer and it locked hard. so I hit the reset Button and now it won't even post! Just get beeps long beeps. unplugged the CD rom and harddrive from the IDE bus and IT just sits and spins!

take out your video card and reseat your ram and all pci cards. might be overkill, but i would bet its the video or ram.

Well I did that then came back to see if anyone posted.

Accually got it to post but had to drop the mem freq down to 100MHz to get it to run!
