I was playing around with that trick to make a fan run at 7v instead of 12v but it didn't work, so I put back my usual fan and while doing so I accidently hit one of the wires on my goldfinger so it fall of the cpu. I got it back on but my computer still wouldn't boot, only post. Then I took off the goldfinger but the computer would still only post. I've also tried taking all unnecessary things out but that didn't change anything.
It does show the correct cpu (Athlon700) and the correct amount of memory (256mb) and the keyboard is also initialized when post'ing but then it stops. I can't enter the bios but I can press ctrl+alt+del and it will reboot, but I can only do that ones. Could I've fried the motherboard or the CPU?

Ahlon 700 (usually running 850)
Epox 7KXA
256mb ram
Asus Geforce2 MX
