I updated a few components on an old system to hold me over until the new i7 processors are out. Everything seems to be working fine, but when I try to put my computer in sleep mode or "low power mode in Vista" the screen turns black for about a second like it is trying to go to sleep, but then comes back to life and no sleep for my computer. I enabled the jumpers on the mother board to respond to a keyboard wakeup, I did not change the usb default to be able to wake up. I also went into the bios ad enabled space bar wake up. Still no go. Any ideas? I'm running Vista home basic 32 bit and here are my components. I've tinkered with the power saving options in vista and still no go.

I also have 4x2 gb of Transcend ddr2 800mhz ram. ( I know vista only recognizes 4, but my buddy works at transcend so he threw 8 at me. )
