I am wondering what is currently wrong with my computer: here are the specs below and what I have tried to fix it.
AMD x2 4000+ OC'd to 2600mhz, ASUS M2N-E 305 bios, 2gb DDR2 800 Corsair, x1900xt 512MB PCI-E, Rosewill 550W PSU (I believe it is a redbadged OCZ).
I tried to start up my computer the other night and it failed to post at all. The video card fan is at 100% speed the entire time I leave the power on to my computer (it used to boot up at 100% then slow down to about 20% speed upon getting past the bios graphics screen). So I replugged all the cords back in, reset the CMOS on my computer by taking the battery out and moving the jumpers to the reset position and restarted my PC. Still the same results. I am kind of confused... I also hear no beeps on my motherboard and the green light is on showing I have power to the MOBO. Does this sound like the motherboard is fried or could it perhaps be my video card? Let me know if you guys have any suggestions that could help me troubleshoot my computer.
Thanks,
