Computer will not boot...help!

I think my other PC has a big problem with it. Basically, when I turn it on, I hear repeated beeping (long beeps) from the system's speaker, and there is no display on the monitor. I have a BX6 r2 mobo.
Any help would be appretiated!

is there any type of pattern to the beeps? who made the bios?

but first id check the Video card, and the ram.. both usually do that if they are bad, or the wrong type, or not in all the way
 
Please post your systems specifications. Its easier to answer your problem when we have all the contents. System Specs, Operating System, and what your motherboards settings are. i.e.(overclocking)
