Well, jus to tell you backgroud information, I'm running an ASUS K8V-SE Deluxe mobo with a AMD 64 3200+ CPU. Ok so I was trying to flash my bios because I saw that i was running bios version 1001 and the latest version from the ASUS website was 1004. So i decided to use the EZFlash way of downloading the new bios, renaming the file to K8VSEDX.ROM, putting in onto a floppy, rebooting the computer and hitting <alt> + <f4> during POST. So it said what it was supposed to say:

User recovery requested. Starting BIOS recovery...
Checking for floppy...

and this point i put in the floppy that had the bios in it

Floppy found!
Reading file "K8VSEDX.rom". Completed.

and then it said something on the order of:

Erasing BIOS.../

and then a dreaded:

Flashing failed!

So i panicked. The cursor was just left flashing after Flashing failed! and i couldnt do anything. I tried hitting <esc>, <delete>, <ctrl> + <alt> + <delete>, and nothing worked. So i did the only thing i could think to do, manually shut it down by holding in the power button. So it shut down, and i rebooted and now it dosnt boot at all. When i start it up its just a black screen, and it seems like the monitor isant even getting signal since the light on the monitor is still orange instead of green. So i dont know what to do guys, I have the original CD that came with the Mobo which has the original BIOS on it, but when i put it on a floppy and put it into the computer and boot up, still nothin happens. So please tell me that one of you brilliant guys knows a solution. Any help would be MUCH appreciated, the sooner the better. Thanks a lot.

BTW, i heard something of a Jumper Setting Boot or a Boot Jumper setting or soemthing where i set a jumper and the next boot would automatically take the file on a floppy disk and put it as its BIOS, does anyone know anythign about that because that might seem to work.
