Well as of yesterday my computer was running fine as usual and then last night when I was on my way to bed I shut it down, then realized I forgot to look up some bank info and turned it back on and windows would not boot up, got as far as seeing the desktop a couple times then bam blue screen of death, same with safe mode. Well I went booted into Fedora core 3 (which worked fine by the way) and did my banking and then went to bed. Well today I have formatted my windows partition and reinstalled windows, and I no longer get the blue screen of death, however while im using hte computer it will freeze for a few seconds completely, mouse and everything does nto move at all and then come back out of it and be semi normal, but this happens every few seconds or at the longest a minute apart with the freezes. What would you all think would cause this? power suppply? heat? something else?

run a memtest on your RAM, one stick at a time, overnite.
What psu do you use?

If you get into BIOS, disable all integrated peripherals for now.
Check temps and voltages, [check RAM is 2.6 to 2.75v]

Oh,
and if you get into windows, can you go into event viewer and see if there are errors that come up in relation to your bsod's.
