Computer video games on your home theater - 150 inch!

Nothing compares to setting up a home theater with an HD projector and plugging your computer to that...

Sit at the couch with wireless mouse and keyboard and play on a 150 inch screen...

Two years ago I bought my first projector, a Sanyo PLV Z2 720p projector for 950$... I moved to a new place a month ago and sold my projector.. now I am looking into buying a new one and building myself a custom screen (custom screen parts should cost under 300$... and will look better then simply projecting on a white wall)

I recommend you do the same... you haven't lived till you do... the only thing delaying my purchase now is figuring out how am I gonna network things in my new house to have a wii work with the projector... (i cant be blocking the light....)

I think I will hang it from the ceiling...

My parents payed 3500$ for their sony 52inch rear projection TV a year after I bought the sanyo and its got nothing on mine!

Anyways, If you have a computer hooked up to a projector please share your setup info here... Pictures and bragging ARE welcome 🙂

Screw that - build yourself a spherical room and figure out how to project 3D holographic images around yourself. 😛

But in all seriousness... when I get a real paying job in a few years, one of my plans is to get a projector.

the thing is, a projector costs LESS then a big TV for much much more... about 1/3 of comparable quality HDTV... so you don't need to be rich to enjoy it.
