I was a little over halfway through the installation of Giants: Citizen Kabuto when my computer rebooted for some reason:( I deleted the Giants folder in the Program Files folder and tried removing Giants from the Add/Remove program but it never goes away:( I grabbed a registry cleaner and found all Giants related entries and deleted them....but it still refuses to give me the install option:( Is their a way around this? I most definitely won't reformat just to install a game. I went through the CD and found the Setup program, but it always does the uninstall, and it still refuses to give me the install option:(

There must still some garbage left in the registry....needs to be found.

Perhaps somebody here that has the game can tell you where all the entries are...

When I ran the registry cleaner it found about 130 bad entries. It tells you where each entry points to, so I'm pretty sure I got them all since it was fairly obvious when a Giants entry was present. It wouldn't be a good idea to delete all of the registry entries listed as having a bad reference right? I guess I could try it, but I'm highly skeptical that there are 130 bad entries when I haven't installed many programs on this computer yet.

Well, it's possible that not all the giants entries are being detected as bad, you may have to look for them manually.

If the game still thinks it is installed, that info is comming from somewhere.

Since you deleted the files on the HD, it must be in the registry...
