Computer Turns On but NO DISPLAY

Ok, so my computer is working perfectly fine until I receive my RMA plextor 716SA drive and install it. After that's done, I turn on my computer--it glows blue and all, but the monitor shows absolutely nothing (like it's in idle mode).

I've tried unplugging the other devices, but even the mobo itself won't boot. The power supply fan is turning, the switch is set to 115V. I've tried clearing the CMOS and setting my jumper to safe boot, but none of this has worked.

Help Please?

Do you hear the POST beep at all? Do you hear the hard drives spinning up? When you said you unplugged the other devices, does that include the power connectors? Sounds like you are getting a short somewhere, possibly. If the additional drive is the only change, everything should function properly.

Try removing and re-inserting your video card (if you are hearing the POST). It may have worked its way loose.

No, I don't hear any POST beep, and yes I do hear the hard drives spinning up. I did unplug the power connectors to my devices when I tried that...and re-inserting the video card didn't change anything.

thanks, but more help plz?

Found my problem. OCZ Gold VX is dead...

I knew something was wrong with those modules when they were burning hot at stock speeds.
