Computer turns off whilst rendering a slideshow

Hi
🙁
Can anyone help ,i have a Samsung RF510 quad core i5 computer with nvidia
geforce with cuda , i have been using Proshow gold 4.51 for years and i upgraded to Proshow 5 since then my computer will not render all the video ,it will do it with a trial version of Wondershare but it won't work with Proshow anymore , i use this softwear quite a lot and am stunned as to why it would do this.
Proshow say its my computer so they refunded me the cost of Proshow Gold 5 and now i am back to 4.51 and its still not working , i have reformatted my computer to as new and reinstalled windows 7 home premium so there is nothing else i can do .
I am thinking of taking it to a computer shop and letting them have a look what does anyone think ?
Thanks new to hear 🙂

When does it turn off? How soon after you start the slideshow, and is it always after the same amount of time or at the same spot in the slideshow?

Does it do this with any other software?

What you describe makes me want to think it might be a thermal issue. Do you get good airflow from the vents on the laptop, especially at the time it shuts down? Also, will the laptop start right back up after it shuts off, or does it have to sit for a few minutes before it will start back up?
