My first suspicion would be that it's a virus. I've seen those exact symptoms, before.

If that's what it is, I've never been able to get rid of it. The only way to restore the systems on which I've worked was to format and re-install Windows from the ground up. Even if you can remove it, it may take much longer than formatting and re-installing it

You can probably save your critical files to another drive, NOT one on which you have uninfected files. Then, when you rebuild the system, make sure your AV and anti-spyware software are installed before slaving up the drive where you saved them, and sweep it from your protected working drive.

Good luck. :)

So i let my computer sit for abotu 24 hours and went to turn in on this morning and it booted up ran check disk, got to my desktop and then crashed again. All the fans are spinning and everything seems to be ok. Could my hard drive crashed or could it possibly a virus like harvey had said.
Edit-So i just went to turn it on again and it crashes right after its done posting. There is seriously something wrong with this thing.

Same advice as day before yesterday. It sounds like a virus I've seen too many times before. You'll spend more time failing at trying to clean than you will rebuilding your Windows installation from scratch.
