computer turn on when router is reconnected??

i am using a d-link di-704p router, whenever I unplug the power cord and plug it back in (i do this to reset the router since my cable internet connection is on/off all the time - comcast sucks), 2 of my computers on the network automatically turn on by itself. Is there a setting that I can disable the computer from turning on by itself? Both system is running xp. Any ideas or suggestion would really help. thanks!!!!

If I remember correctly, this is a BIOS setting called Wake-on-LAN. If you disable it in your BIOS, everything should be ok.

I'm not sure the router would be configured to send the "Magic Packet" that a network card uses to know when to wake-on-LAN. It seems this one is doing it though. You might prefer to turn it off in the router as well as the computer's BIOS if possible. Rarely do computers even come with the wake-on-LAN cable connected though, but if it's integrated network card, then it wouldn't need it.
