computer training: What do I need?

I have a lot of general knowledge about computers. I have built around 6 systms for either myself or friends. Some were celerons and some were overclocked durons. I know there are a lot of things that I do not know. I also know that there are many people who know a lot more than me. I have started doing this stuff on the side. It has been some good extra income. My cousin said I should get something called A+ certification if I want to do it even more. You see I am a teacher so I have the summers off. What do you guys think? Is this really necessary and what does it involve? Is there some other type of training that I should consider? Thanks for your time.
