Computer Too Noisy, Quiet Options?

I have an Antec SLK3700 case modded to hold two Panaflo 120 mm L1A fans (on inflow and one outflow). The sink is a Thermaltake Volcano 9. The system is the Chiefthawk system in my sig. I am not overclocking. This case is way too noisy. Suggestions please!

Temps are 44 c non-gaming and 48 in bf 1942 dc.

Thanks!
Chiefthawk

Get a Zalman CNPS-7000A if it fits your board.
Replace your Northbridge fan with a passive heatsink if you have one.
Install a Zalman heatpipe, VGA Silencer or something similar on your video card.
Get a fan controller to lower the speeds of your Panaflos or mod them to 7V as they're still quite noisy at stock speeds.

What hard drive do you have? You might want to replace it if it's really loud.

You will probably have to get a new PSU, HS/F and video card cooler.

Check out SPCR for their recommended hardware.

gently stopp each fan and find out which makes the most noise.
Then take Klah's advice and check out SPCR's recommended hardwar.
...and I can almost garuntee the killer will be the CPU fan.
Zalman, Alpha, and Thermalright to the rescue!

I second this idea, this will make your computer MUCH quieter... the Zalmans are really nice products... now if only they were a tad cheaper (oh well, at least my ears thank me) 😀

Your loudest fan is probably your Volcano 9 (smart fan 2), Pretty much a hair dryer! 😉

A cheap solution would be a SilentBoost.
or you could get any Thermalright HS with a Panaflo fan.

Northbridge fan could also contribute.
The 120mm L1A's shouldn't be loud unless they are buzzing. If that be the case put rubber grommets between them and the case or (as I do) a little 2 sided foam tape.
