Is there any way to connect an hdmi cable from the computer to a plasma? My plasma has hdmi but not dvi. Its the 50" panasonic.

Or do I need to get like a dvi to hdmi converter?

Anyone ever seen something like this in action? Does it look nice?
 
Has anyone seen what this looks like? I would be needing to buy about a 15 ft cord and i know will probably cost at least 100
