I would like to record a sound track from the internet to a cassette.
How do I do this?
What equipment and software do I need?
Would it sound much better than if I had recorded from my FM stereo (Which has great reception)?
Does the quality of the sound card affect my recording?

For those that reply Thank you!

:D

The best way I know of to do that is to record the sound first as a WMA or WAV file in the computer. Then, using playback software, connect to SoundCard output to an external cassette recorder and record it the same way you would from any audio source via patch cables.

alrite, this is the way it works, well for me anyways....i have a Computer to MD link, u can get em at minidisco.com, and i hook it up to my cassette deck if i ever need to make a tape, and to my md deck when i make an MD...its basically like another sound card, it hooks up to the usb port, and outputs to the audio in, in the back. IMO i think its good quality although i dont have very discriminating taste
