Computer Time/Clock off???

Here is the problem....

I have to computers both windows 2000. both are connected to the net and both are set to automatically check for correct time.

These 2 pc's are in a broadcast environment and need to both keep the exact same time in order to display things correctly.
But i cant get them to keep the same time!!
What am I doing wrong?

actually, DON'T have them set to auto update their time, that has been known to cause problems with time keeping.

i thought about the battery but didnt think that would matter since they are never powered off. will a low battery still affect it?

I would not think so if the auto update program is working correctly. Probably depends on how often if is correcting the time. Are you sure you have parameters in auto update program set correctly ?
