CPU is 42 C and 52 C under heavy load. 22C room temps. Are these safe temps? Does anyone know what type of temps and OC clocks I might expect from water cooling?

Most recommendations I've seen say to try and keep the winchester's under 50 at full load. Depending on the wc'ing setup you should see load temps drop quite a bit.

Just checked recently in Everest and was wondering what kind of temps I should be shooting for, heres what it said:

Motherboard 30 °C (86 °F)
CPU 42 °C (108 °F)
Aux 27 °C (81 °F)
GPU 31 °C (88 °F)
GPU Ambient 29 °C (84 °F)
Hitachi HDS722525VLAT80 28 °C (82 °F)

I know my CPU is a bit high and I'm getting a new Alpha HS/F soon, but how do the other temps look?

What are YOUR temps?
Mobo: 41º C
CPU: 33º C
Case: 38º C
GPU: 64º C
GPU Am.: 50º C
HDD: 38º C

Is there any way of checking GPU temps through built-in systems, like the winbond chip? I haven't seen a BIOS/app that does this, not even Abit's uGuru.

The only way I know of to check the GPU Temp is in the Nvidia Drivers in Control Panel. but I also hear that the temp shown is off by a few.
Or U can just add a Front Panel Temp/Fan Controller and put the Temp Reader on the Vid Card.

Fan controller running fans quietly, these are average temps:

CPU idle: 36 C
CPU load: 45-50 C (guessing on this one, I don't usually load my CPU down with the fans running quietly)
HDD: 35 C
GPU idle: 55 C
GPU load: 65 C

Fan controller running fans full-blast:

CPU idle: 33 C
CPU load: 43 C
HDD: 28 C
GPU idle: 52 C
GPU load: 60 C

Video is a 6800 GT w/ Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 5, hence the high temps...6800 cards run hot. CPU is an AMD 64 (socket 754) with Thermalright XP-90 paired with Panaflo M1A 92mm fan. Case cooling is provided by two Adda front fans, a Panaflo 80 mm blowhole fan, and an 80mm blue LED Logisys (designed by Antec, I believe) rear exhaust fan in a Lian-Li PC65.

those temps are fine. im rolling w/ a lian li pc6070 which as about much airflow as......something with very little airflow. At load im usually around 55-56 I'm fine, the processors are able to take temps upto 70
