Computer System Fan Setup Specs

Ok, i just finished installing the rest of my fans...I officially now have 3 fans.

I have the CPU fan, another fan on the back of my tower(FAN 1), and another fan that is attached to the side panel (FAN 2)....

I'm kind of confused though... do i want the fans blowing air in? Or both blowing air out??? or do i want one blowing in and the other blowing out??

Please help a n00b out...

IN my opinion, i think having one blowing in and the other blowing out is the most efficient way of removing hot air.

You are correct, one blowing in and one blowing out is the way to go. Given heat's tendency to rise, your best bet is to have your intake in bottom front of the case and your exhaust out the back.

i dont know if the 1' of space allows for much "rising", but then again, i haven taken my 3 years of thermodynamics yet

good luck
