Got a bunch of gift cards for Amazon and really need to build a new PC. Thinking of waiting til Black Fri sales, but I know things like CPU's never get reduced in price. Will any other parts like GPU, RAM etc go down in price during these sale days?

If you are only looking at Amazon, memory and CPU rarely go on sale there. However, Newegg and Fry's Electronics do put them on sale. Fry's currently is selling the 6700k for less than $300 if you have signed up for the promo code.

I'm on a pretty strict budget. Looking to keep everything <$800 and with the build I have right now, it's $783. Going K series CPU will blow my budget and won't make a huge improvement for gaming relative to the cost of upgrading.

It got an 8.4/10 ... That's not bad.

I agree, I could get a better one on sale for maybe just a few more bucks. I don't really need a modular PSU... It would be nice but I can only afford to spend <$70 or so on one.

What would you suggest then?

I'm keeping my eye on the Supernova 550.. It got a 10/10 on that johhnyguru site, so if I can get it for around the $60 or less mark, Id consider that a good deal.

Both of those you listed are complete overkill for my build

ssd will likely go on sale; usually a decent deal on samsung evo/pro line; also amazon sometimes has sale on crucial memory. I suppose there will be several sales on evga and seasonic psu as well as various gpu but all the of the gpu prices will be high compared to next year prices :)

I'm not sure where you live, but the place to go for CPUs is a Microcenter. I drove an hour and a quarter to get mine and it it was still worth the effort.

Already ordered all the parts, but I may be looking for a regular HDD to replace my external.

Also, some new headphones.

I have almost the same build, but I went with the ASRock Z170m pro4s, it was finnicky with my memory but my 6500 is sitting at 4.0 ghz under a $20 hyper 212 evo.
