This prob appeared about 2 wks ago. When starting up the windows date will be a thousand years ahead. The clock remains accurate. The bios clock is fine. Because of the dreaded y10k prob some of my programs won't run until I fix the date. After running for about half an hour (in win2k) the time will go back to the incorrect future date and everything s l o w s down. It forces me to restart. Changing the date back does not help after it has slowed down. I reformatted and reinstalled windows and the problem persists. Please help me I am going crazy. Thanks. 😕

Can you set the date for 1000 years in the past? That way, when it jumps ahead, the date will be right. Probly won't work, but...
