let me go to the store and pick up?

I'm looking to pick up a NF3 mobo and a X2 processor. Time's pressing so I need to shop reasonably "local".

Ok, I know that ZZF is in Fremont but they have no storefront.

Any that you guys can recommend? I'm leaving for SoCal this weekend and have no time to wait for parts to come in, so it'll be better for me to be able to go to the store and pick up the parts.

I know, I know..."you live in the Bay Area" yet you're asking about computer stores?"

The prices are too high because I need parts to repair two different computers and their combo deals don't offer that.

Yea i saw the 3800+ X2 Combo but I'd have to replace the DDR memory in that old computer too, then there's also another video card purchase required...

Not sure about combo deals but Central Computer is my absolute favorite BA computer shop.

Central Computer

They have 3 locations... SF, Santa Clara and Newark. I usually go to the Newark store.

Prices are pretty good and often beat NewEgg. Plus they have a very friendly intelligent staff unlike Frys.

Thanks. I was actually thinking about going there after having read the X2 price cut thread in HD, and now if there's confirmation that makes it feel more assuring.

And not to make this a tech thread since it's O/T but it's to repair 2 old computers one of them is used for light gaming - now is 6200/x300 anywhere near a 9700 Pro?
