Computer starts backspacing all of a sudden!

all of a sudden after my computer is on for a few hours or 10 hours, it will start backspacing and i cannot type anything or click anything since everything comes out reverse like if i type "the" it will come out "eht" ...is this a virus or something?

Sometimes Firefox will suddenly jump back to the first tab I've got open, or iTunes will just skip all the way to the first track in my Library. Why? The tilt feature on my G7's scroll wheel is weird, sometimes it will get stuck in the left position and nothing fixes it other than clicking it back and forth like I've got epilepsy.
